I wanna share a Valentines Day incident in our company…

Gifts to India

Hi guys!! Well… this is my first blog so bear with me and dont fall asleep…

For the past week i was checking out sites where we could purchase online for gifts… I also checked out some blogs to get the opinion of some the guys… I came across this blog which i guess listed all the sites that service us in india… I checked out all the sites listed there… So… thought of sharing my views here…. A couple of the sites had negative reviews about them… I guess rediff was the one that got a lot of negative reviews… So its absolutely out of my list… Next i came across two sites that caught my attention… These were storrz and futurebazaar….

Firstly about storrz…. They call themselves a mall and have got a not so bad collection of brands… One of the stores to check out is the Jus’Trufs store… They have a really good collection of “hand crafted chocolates”…. Lotz of options to choose from… My bet is that this is the store to visit if you want to gift someone special like your Girl or your Guy… well, I can say one thing for sure… Your girl would love you for gifting her something as beautiful as the ones listed there… I tried its “Premium Combo” just to check its service… They delivered as the promised… within 24 hrs… But above all I liked the milk chocolate and the coffee flavors in it… Another gifting option would be flowers! There is a Ferns’N'Petals store which has got a beautiful collection of flowers and cakes! But one thing is I wouldnt order a cake online as I wouldnt know in what condition it would be delivered! Then they also have a store for GK Vale… This store concentrates more on electronic products like cameras, camcorders, ipods et al… This is another gr8 gifting option…. But what caught my eye was the fact that they sell groceries online too…I have never come across any Indian site providing the same… but its available only in bangalore…. I guess they need to introduce some more stores which would sell apparels, gaming consoles and introduce all India grocery shopping….

Next I would like to review about futurebazaar… This too seems to be a good site to browse… Their strength is that they have got a HUGE variety of products… Its like they have covered everything under the roof excepting stuff like groceries and chocolates… The only thing that makes me skeptical of this site is that the very same product would cost maybe Rs.2000 in the brick and mortar store…. Are they offering a complaint-free product or not… Otherwise its a good site….
